Our Mission

Sonje Yo’s mission is to reduce the suffering of the world’s most vulnerable groups and provide tools and resources needed to increase their self-sufficiency.

Sonje Yo is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-governmental, non-partisan human rights organization. One of the premier organization implementing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and programs across a broad spectrum of regions and technical activities/education. Our mission is to reduce the human suffering of the world’s most vulnerable groups and to provide tools and resources needed to increase their self-sufficiency. We will accomplish this mission by running targeted, cost-effective agricultural development programs that improve the lives of these vulnerable groups. We will work mainly in Haiti where the present human rights, social justice, politic, and technical are challenges. We put emphasis  in prevention and helping families affected by trafficking of human beings, sex abuse/slave to recover and improve. We collaborate with a wide range of organizations to design and implement humanitarian relief and development aid programs for the communities affected by natural disasters and famine.

Our Goal

Our Goal: By the year 2020, Form direct and indirect partnerships with our targeted group by providing needed resources for basic education and training, resulting in a sustainable viable economic system, empowered by an agricultural industry rooted in the doctrine of the protection of human rights and human dignity. This will be accomplished by running sustainable, targeted and cost-effective agricultural development program that offers opportunities, aimed at improving the quality of life of all people, connect to or interested in Haiti.
